    What is real time PCR?

Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) is biological technique that can offer significant advantages for patients in diagnosis of multiple diseases with our focus on infectious diseases, sexually transmitted diseases and several other viral infections.  The specificity of PCR is unbeatable!

The identification method used by PCR focuses on identification of DNA/RNA -genetic material found in all living organisms that are SPECIFIC and UNIQUE to that disease causing organism. PCR testing has a very high sensitivity and can thus detect even low quantities of genetic material and also holds a high specificity to detect ONLY the pathogen and nothing else.
