Dr. Mickhaiel Barrow studied undergraduate medicine at King’s College, Cambridge, and Christ Church, Oxford, before moving to Manchester to complete postgraduate training in histopathology. After working at Manchester Royal Infirmary with subspecialist interests in gynecological, lung, and endocrine pathology, as well as cytopathology, he returned to Trinidad and is currently the head of the histopathology department at Port of Spain General Hospital. He is passionate about service improvement in the public health system and hopes to foster international collaboration through digital pathology to improve pathology diagnostic services.
